Samia, who is one of the founders of Sindyanna of Galilee, has lived her entire life in the Galileean village of Majd Al-Krom – the very place where the story of Sindyanna began. A mother of two, she has a bachelor’s degree in general literature from the University of Haifa, is a graduate of the university’s group facilitation program, and is currently studying for a master’s degree there.
Samia has over twenty years of experience working in the community, among youth and women, Arabs and Jews. She worked at the Archaeological Museum in Ein Dor as the coordinator for their “Life without Violence and Conflict” program. Today she works as a manager at EMDA association for Alzheimer’s and Dementia in Israel.
Samia helps promote Sindyanna’s social projects, which include meetings between Arabs and Jews, aimed at advancing the status of women.
