Sindyanna: Building Peace Through Economic Partnership
Sindyanna of Galilee is a unique non-profit organization led by a team of Arab and Jewish women who have been working since 1996 to create social change from the ground up. 100% of our profits are reinvested into social development projects.
Our goals are to produce award-winning olive oil and other premium food products, while enhancing Arab-Jewish cooperation, promoting Fair Trade, creating economic opportunities for Arab women, and assisting local growers and producers.
Why We Need Your Support Now
We are reaching out at a particularly difficult and sensitive moment in our journey. After a long and tragic war that has lasted nearly three years, we find ourselves facing several economic setbacks:
- Major orders, some from long-standing partners, were reduced or cancelled.
- Tariffs and tax policies have negatively affected some of our key US customers.
- The sharp decline in tourism forced us to furlough some of our dedicated staff.
- The Park Slope Food Coop is boycotting Israeli products including our olive oil.
