Another Batch of Medals for 2018
Since the beginning of the year, our olive oils have received 10 awards and our organic line has been listed by EVOOLEUM as one of the 100 top oils in the world. The awards include gold and silver medals at the BIOL event in Italy, a Prestige Gold medal at Terra Olivo, silver medals both at EVO-IOOC and at Olive Japan, and honorable mentions at the Israeli Olive Oil competition.
Also, in a first for Sindyanna, we received second place for packaging at Biol and a silver medal in the category of Best Retail Design at the EVOOLEUM Packaging Awards. Both awards were judged by prestigious juries which included famous photographers, chefs and other creative minds, further proof of the beauty of our new designs!
New Medals for our Organic EVOOs
Our organic line is off to a great start this year with several medals recently awarded to our Coratina and Barne’a varietals – a gold medal at Biol in Italy, a silver medal at Athena in Greece, a Silver medal at Domina International in Italy, a Bronze medal at the IOOC event in London, and two honorable mentions at a local Olive Oil competition here in Israel.

Our good friend Gianni Toma from COSPE represented Sindyanna in Rome earlier this year at the BIOL 2016 awards ceremony where we received two silver medals and were voted the best Israeli olive oil.
Our Latest Gold Medals!
We’re very happy to announce that we’ve added three more gold medals to our growing list of awards. At the Terra Olivo International Olive Oil Competition in Jerusalem, our Organic Fair Trade olive oil received a gold medal, and our Cortina olive oil received the Prestige Gold medal. Also, the judges at the 2016 Domina International Olive Oil Contest (D-IOOC) gave our organic olive oil the prestigious D-IOOC Gold Medal!
New 2016 Medals – Athena International and Arisition
Our Fair Trade Olive Oil has recently been awarded two additional Silver Medals. One at the Athena International Olive Oil Competition that took place in Athens (March 20-21 2016) and the other at the Arisition Quality Awards event that took place in London (April 9-10 2016).
Silver Medal at Israel First Harvest 2016
A Silver Medal was awarded to Sindyanna’s premium olive oil in the First Harvest annual competition that was held January 21, 2016 by the Israel Olive Board. Celebrating the beginning of the year with the first award of many for our outstanding fair trade olive oil!
Extra Gold Medal at Premio Biol, Italy 2015
Sindyanna of Galilee’s organic EVOO participated in the Biol international Prize for the fourth year in a row. The international jury assigned to our olive oil the ExtraGold Medal (the list of all the winners is published on the website).

For the sixth time in
a row, Sindyanna’s fair trade olive oil won the Prestige Gold Medal at the international Terra Olivo 2015 competition. We were up against excellent olive oils from around the world, including Spain, Italy, Portugal, Argentina and many more countries.

Best Organic Israeli Olive Oil at BIOL 2014
For the third year in a row (!) we won an award at the BIOL competition which was held in March. Our organic olive oil won the silver medal and an award as the best Israeli olive oil.
Gold Medal at First Harvest 2014
Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil won the Gold Medal at First Harvest (Rishon Hamasik), naming it the best EVOO in Israel for 2014 in the small producer category. It is the second year in a row that Sindyanna of Galilee Fair Trade has recieved this prestigious prize. Read more here (in Hebrew).

with great pleasure we inform you that the oil SINDYANNA OF GALILEE, in competition for the seventeenth edition of the Prize, has been evaluated both in terms of chemistry and sensory panel by the territorial and international jury of BIOL 2012, the international competition held on March from 15 to 17 in Puglia, Italy. This judgment of BIOL jury has allowed you to obtain a recognition of high quality ”SILVER MEDAL” awarded to all samples that have reached the final tasting session provided that they reached a score equal or higher than 70 and to all the samples that obtained by the preselection jury a score equal or higher than 65.

Prestige Gold Medal at Terra Olivo 2011
The international TerraOlivo olive oil challenge took place in Jerusalem on 17-18 May 2011. Sindyanna of Galilee’s olive oil, the only fair-trade organic olive oil in the competition, won the Prestige Gold Medal, as well as a special award as the Best Israeli Barnea Strain. This is the second time that Sindyanna’s fair-trade olive oil has won this prestigious award.
An international team of 30 judges tasted 302 brands of high-quality cold-press extra virgin olive oil samples that were sent to the contest by 19 nations, including Italy, Spain, Argentina, Tunis, Lebanon and Palestine.
