Our guiding principles at Sindyanna of Galilee include providing equal opportunities for women and advancing the status of Arab women. These principles are reflected in the organization’s team – from the production line to the factory management, which is made up of Arab and Jewish women who believe in a shared future for both peoples.
Wafia Zreike
Wafia, who was born and raised in Kafr Kana, has been working at Sindyanna since 2011 and is now a senior production worker and team leader.
Galit Betzalel
Galit has lived in the north since moving to the Jordan Valley in 2008. For the past decade, she has worked in finance, personal training, cultural coordination and group facilitation.
Jenan Adawi Diabat
Jenan, Sindyanna’s accounting manager, is from the village of Turan. She is a married mother of two, has a bachelor’s degree in English, and more than eight years of experience as an accounting manager.
Nasreen Amara
Nasreen, who was born and raised in Kafr Kana, has been part of the Sindyanna team since 2016, doing great work promoting our activities and strengthening the local community.
Maysar Khamaisi
Maysar is a married mother of three who lives in Kafr Kana. She has been a weaving instructor at our Visitors Center since she graduated with honors from the first cycle of the basket weaving course.
Samia Nasser
Samia, who is one of the founders of Sindyanna of Galilee, helps promote our social projects, which include meetings between Arabs and Jews, aimed at advancing the status of women.
Nadia Giol
Nadia, who joined Sindyanna in 2016, is our Visitor Centers Manager and Lead Group Facilitator. A long-time peace activist, she has two daughters and lives in Nof al-Ghalil (Upper Nazareth).
Hanan Manadreh Zoabi
Hanan has been the co-manager of Sindyanna of Galilee’s Visitors Center since 2013. In this role, she leads social projects, professional training and empowerment programs for women.
Dani Ben Simhon
Dani is the co-director of our Visitors Center, as well as one of the founders and managers of our “Bread and Roses” project. Born and raised in Kiryat Gat, he is married with one son and lives in Nesher.
Hadas Lahav
CEO of Sindyanna since its founding in 1996, Hadas was born in Kibbutz Beit Zera near Lake Tiberias and now lives in Haifa’s Hadar neighborhood. In 1992, she co-founded the Al-Baqa’a Center in Majd al-Krum.
